Car Rental Booking - Terms & Conditions
1. Acceptance of Terms
By completing a booking through our website, phone, or authorized agent, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions, including the cancellation, refund, and dispute policies. Acceptance of these terms constitutes authorization for the transaction.
2. Booking Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed once payment is successfully processed and a confirmation email with the itinerary details is issued. Customers are responsible for reviewing the confirmation immediately and reporting any discrepancies within 24 hours of receipt.
3. (a) Payment Authorization:
By submitting payment, the customer authorizes the Ebookingdesk and its payment processors to charge the provided payment method for the total booking amount, including applicable service or processing fees. This authorization serves as proof of cardholder approval in the event of any payment dispute.
3. (b) Two Charges:
Ebookingdesk may charge the total booking amount in multiple transactions if required.
4. Role of the Ebookingdesk
The Ebookingdesk acts as an intermediary booking platform connecting customers with independent car rental suppliers. The vehicle rental agreement, vehicle availability, and rental conditions are provided and fulfilled by the third-party rental supplier at the pickup location.
5. Driver Requirements
The primary driver must meet the rental provider’s requirements, including:
- Valid driving license
- Minimum age requirements
- Valid identification and credit card for security deposit
Any additional documentation required by the rental supplier Failure to meet these requirements is not our responsibility and may result in the vehicle not being provided and the booking being classified as a no-show, which is non-refundable.
6. Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation requests must be submitted through our official support channels (email, phone, or customer portal).
- Free Cancellation (if applicable): Allowed up to the timeframe specified in the booking confirmation.
- Late Cancellation: Cancellations after the permitted cancellation period may incur charges up to 100% of the booking amount.
- No-Show: If the customer does not collect the vehicle at the scheduled pickup date, time, and location, the reservation will be treated as a no-show and is nonrefundable. Refunds, if applicable, are processed depending on the payment provider, therefore the customer needs to contact us to know the time frame of the refund any dispute before the time we suggested will be invalid.
7. Booking Modifications
Requests to change pickup dates, rental duration, or vehicle category are subject to availability and supplier approval, we are not responsible in case the desired services are not available at the time of pickup. Additional charges or fare differences may apply.
8. Vehicle Availability
While every effort is made to ensure vehicle availability, the rental provider may substitute a similar or upgraded vehicle category in case of operational requirements or fleet availability.
9. Vehicle Not Received / Service Issues
- The customer must immediately contact our support team while present at the rental location.
- Our team will coordinate with the rental supplier to resolve the issue, provide an alternative vehicle.
- Claims submitted after leaving the pickup location without contacting us may not qualify for refunds or dispute claims.
10. Additional Charges at Rental Counter
The rental supplier may require additional payments directly from the customer, including but not limited to:
- Security deposit
- Insurance upgrades
- Fuel options
- Additional drivers
- Local taxes or surcharges These charges are separate from the booking amount paid to us and any dispute or claim will be consider invalid.
11. Customer Responsibility at Pickup
Customers must arrive at the pickup location at the scheduled date and time with all required documents. Late arrivals may result in reservation cancellation or reduced vehicle availability.
12. Refund Policy
Refund eligibility depends on the supplier’s policy and the booking conditions. Nonrefundable bookings, no-show reservations, or cancellations outside the permitted period may not qualify for refunds or any disputes.
13. Dispute and Customer Support Policy
Customers agree to contact our support team to resolve any concerns regarding their booking before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with their bank or card issuer. Our support team will make reasonable efforts to resolve issues promptly, Financial institutions like- visa INC, Mastercard, discover card and American Express encourage The customer to contact the merchant to resolve the query before filing the dispute, failing doing that the customer will not be entitled for any refunds or disputes.
14. Chargeback Policy
By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, the customer acknowledges that filing a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the matter with the merchant may be considered misuse of the dispute process. The merchant reserves the right to provide all booking records, transaction authorization, communication history, and policy acceptance as evidence in response to any dispute.
15. Fraud Prevention
All transactions are subject to fraud screening and verification procedures. The merchant reserves the right to request additional identity verification or decline transactions suspected of fraud.
16. Limitation of Liability
E Booking Desk shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, mechanical issues, accidents, damages, or any operational matters related to the vehicle rental, as these are the responsibility of the rental supplier.
17. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and interpreted under the applicable laws of the merchant’s operating jurisdiction.
18. 24 Hours Colling Period
Customers must contact our support team within 24 hours if they are not satisfied with the service. Failure to notify us within this period will be deemed as acceptance of the service and confirmation that the customer is satisfied with the purchase, and no refund, dispute, or claim will be considered thereafter.
